Leadership Team
After having worked together for several years at Brookfield Financial, a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management, Shorebeam’s leadership team founded their own practice in 2020.
Julius Wolf, Managing Partner
Julius founded Shorebeam’s parent company Wolfreach in 2020 and has since advised on over AUD 1.2 billion of debt and equity transactions.
Prior to Shorebeam, Julius headed Brookfield Financial’s Australian real estate advisory business from 2016 to 2020, most recently as a Partner, advising on over AUD 800 million of real estate transactions spanning the retail, hotel, student accommodation and office sectors.
Julius has approximately 20 years of experience in real estate finance, acquisitions and investment management across Asia-Pacific, North American and European markets.
Prior to joining Brookfield Financial, Julius worked as a capital transactions manager at DEXUS Property Group, Australia’s largest office REIT. He also worked at Singapore-based hotel investor M&L Hospitality and held various roles for German real estate lender Aareal Bank in both New York and Germany.
Julius completed his undergraduate degree in Economics and Management at the University of Bolzano in Italy and graduated with a Master of International Studies (Hons.) from the University of Sydney. He is fluent in English, German and Italian.
Tom Manton, Associate Director
Tom joined Shorebeam in 2020 as an Associate Director, working on transactions including debt financing of a Melbourne CBD office property for a European institutional investor, debt and equity raising for a Sydney CBD hotel development and debt raising for a Sydney CBD hotel acquisition by an institutional investor.
Before joining Shorebeam, Tom worked at Brookfield Financial from 2016 to 2020, most recently as a Vice President. Tom provided financial modelling and analytical support in relation to real estate, renewable energy and infrastructure transactions.
Tom has over 10 years of experience in corporate finance and advisory across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Brookfield Financial, he worked at BurnVoir Corporate Finance for two years focusing on debt and strategic advisory in the resources and energy sectors.
Prior to BurnVoir, he was a member of the Corporate Finance division in Moore Stephens’ Melbourne office.
Tom completed his undergraduate degree in Commerce and Arts at the University of Monash in Melbourne and graduated with first class honours in Finance.
